La Polvoreria, is an old "Masia", typical Catalan farm house, build before 1630, when the first records appear. In those days it belonged to a gun-powder miller. Afeter an explosin that left him injured he started writing his memoirs and his will, which tell us what we now know. Then, over the following centuries, the house has been restored several times.

Today it is a comfortable five double bedroom house with two bathrooms, an extra WC, a large and fully equipped kitchen/dining room, and a living room from which a large staircase ascends to the four bedrooms on the upper floor. The fifth bedroom is a nice en suite room on the ground floor.
